It's too bad that the list of women you can actually agree with entirely, including politically, religiously, how they live their public and personal lives in general, work ethic and other aspects, is so short.

The goal, of Zelda Lily in particular, is to be HONEST about who we are and where we are as women, not to parrot some feminist ideology. Am I ever instinctively jealous, catty and presumptuous, particularly when it comes to other women? Yes. I cop to that when it happens, and I note when I'm wrong. I could pretend that I'm perfect and never, ever jealous of other women, but that wouldn't help me to learn and grow -- it would just mask the prejudices and allow them to grow stronger. I try to acknowledge and be aware of these thoughts, and how incorrect they are proven to be, so I can learn from my own failures. To me, that's less "faux" than women who pretend to never have thoughts like that.

You say you expected Vanessa to be a haughty princess and I was gonna just leave it alone. But you continue to repeat this point, and then go on to say that you rarely admit that someone is smarter than you "let alone a chick." Would you have detailed these same assumptions if Vanessa was a man? It's as if you're portraying the female-bashing and competition that you condemn on your other sites (particularly zelda, of course). I repeatedly see these paradoxes throughout your sites these days. Do you really believe the mission plan behind your sites or is it just faux-feminism, an opportunity to display a holier than thou attitude under the preception that it's actually witty and intelligent. I suggest you reevaluate your sentiments should you still want to be the kind of person you perpetuate to your audience.

Obviously you don't have to give a crap about what I think, but you say you're "learning, learning, learning," so...just some food for thought.

Funny that you mention Carly Fiorina. I opened up my inbox just now and found this email:

Dear ***************,

That sure didn't take long.

The primary election isn't even over, and Carly Fiorina has already launched a new misleading TV ad attacking Barbara Boxer.

This is just the beginning -- and we've got to be ready for everything they're going to throw at us.

Contribute to Barbara's campaign today -- and help us reach our $200,000 fundraising goal before the polls close on June 8!

In Fiorina's latest ad, she attacks Barbara's work to reduce the threat of climate change as just being "worried about the weather" and dismisses any connection between climate change and national security.

That's just wrong.

Many experts of every political party believe that climate change could pose a serious threat to our nation. That's one reason why the CIA has established The Center on Climate Change and National Security.

Apparently Fiorina has trouble keeping "climate" and "weather" straight -- just like her supporter Sarah Palin.

On terrorism, Barbara has successfully advocated for tough measures to protect America -- from sanctions on Iran to strengthening port and airport security.

Meanwhile, Carly Fiorina has a troubling record on protecting Americans from terrorism. She supports allowing people on the terrorist no-fly list to buy guns and, during her tenure at HP, the company was working through a shell company trading with Iran, a state sponsor of terror.

There is a clear choice in this race when it comes to strengthening national security and fighting climate change. On so many issues, there's no question Barbara Boxer has the record and the vision to keep America moving forward.

Contribute to Barbara's campaign today -- and help us set the record straight!

Carly's latest TV ad may fire up the right wing and the tea party extremists, but it shows how out of step she is with Californians. Californians know that climate change is a serious threat and support action to reduce global warming.

But if Carly Fiorina is the GOP nominee, we'll see a lot more of this kind of negative and misleading advertising over the next five months.

With the June 8 primary just four days away, the general election campaign is right around the corner -- and we need your support to be ready.

Contribute to Barbara's campaign today -- and help us reach our $200,000 fundraising goal before the polls close on June 8!

Thanks so much for standing with Barbara Boxer.

Sincerely,

Rose Kapolczynski
Campaign Manager
Boxer for Senate

P.S. The June 8 primary is just four days from now -- and we need your help to hit the ground running. The general election campaign begins as soon as the polls close that night, so please contribute now -- and help us reach our $200,000 grassroots fundraising goal!

I haven't these ads or campaigns and I actually respected Carly before reading this (I did a brief case study on her at HP for a business class), so this is something that piqued my curiosity.
