		<description>I think no one, or almost no one, changes anything without at least some discomfort if not outright pain. One of my favorite quotes is "People don't change because they see the light, but because they feel the heat." I guess the trick is to recognize the need when it's an envelope burning in an ashtray, not to wait until it's a raging inferno.
I've been cranky and miserable for the last three weeks. I finally figured out my priorities are shifting and I'm trying to determine what is important to me now. I'm still cranky and miserable but at least now I know why.</description>

		<description>Honestly, I think that's how a lot of people operate... or at least a lot of people I'm close to (including myself).  We need some CATALYST for change.  Some event that slaps us in the face and makes us WANT to change things.  Sometimes that "event" is the realisation that we are alarmingly unhappy...  or maybe in devastating pain.  :/
