Only turned 21 and the prospect of, you know, growing up makes me weep. I cried last week!

Aging with grace and dignity?? Fine! But even better, let's not say "aging." Let's say "getting more experienced." Please? I'm turning 40 soon (TRUMP the Ms. 28). And the greatest thing I've heard lately is, "Honey, at least you learned that by 40 and not 50."
I think it really is the experience, AND LEARNING FROM IT!

Sasha, may you be the most experienced, blah blah blah. Have fun. Enjoy your friends and family, and give many hugs and kisses...be yourself, and don't look for anything. It will be there in time.

Hi Sasha,
I'm a pretty avid reader of your blog, and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated this and all your posts. I've had so many of your same fears, and there's comfort in knowing that I can choose to shape my life into whatever I want it to be. Thanks for the reminder.

Take care! =)

You're way too hard on yourself, Sasha! LOL Imagine turning 40 and wishing it WERE 28. That's how I get through birthdays now and remembering how many times I still get carded. The 20s are for screwing up and finding your way. Enjoy the moments of today and appreciate your many blessings more.

I'm twenty five and terrified. I'm not so much terrified that my life hasn't taken me where I'd hoped.. but that I haven't even STARTED! Meanwhile, the bit about your mother made me laugh - so true.

You are at a great age and place in life. In my opinion you are doing everything right!
As someone in my 40s, the only advice I would give you is don't bother getting married.

Happy Birthday.

I turned 34 in January, and girl it was really depressing! But I don't want to be that person who didn't know how to enjoy what they have-- in the grand scheme 34 is still youngish and I'd be a fool to not appreciate it while I was 34. You still have lots of living and loving left in you...

Sasha, my life just really started at 28. I had kids younger and that was life. Working on my career and raising childen was life. But I really really started MY life at 28. It's when I started clicking into place. It only gets better as long as your health holds up. Take care of yourself.
