I totally agree with your dad.

On the weekend I left my car keys hanging out the back of my boot when I got home at midnight after a very long day.

The boot of my car faces the footpath.

I was relived and suprised when both my keys and my car were still in my drive-way the next day as well as all the stuff that was in the boot - inc. cash.

Guess not very one in this world wants to take advantage of others.

AMAZING!! I think this is my favorite of your blog posts…what a great read. You have steel testicles, Sasha. I could never trust a stranger to take my four-wheeled child.

Love these kinds of happenings…so spiritually affirming. Thanks for posting it. I have a nasty cold I can’t shake or sleep off, and I was taking that quit smoking drug Chantix which might as well have been rat poison, it has so many side effects. Really disgusting. I bet some lonely, angry, passive-agressive scientist who despises smokers developed it.

I once lost my driver’s license and some random person mailed it back to me with a note that said to be more careful. I keep that note to remind me that there are great people in this world.

Amazing Story! I needed to hear this– and your Dad’s comment. I was have been losing a bit of faith in people lately. It’s so true that we sour ourselves by assuming everyone has a hidden agenda. There are still genuine people out there.

Ok, I really like the story and can imagine, that it meant A LOT to you and that it was a great help.

But there’s a little voice bugging me about the fact that we’re EXPECTING to be ripped off all the time. That we’re expecting that a stranger offering help has some hidden agenda. It’s actually a little sad.

But then it maybe feels even more amazing when things like that happen?
