I meant to tell you in the drug post that you oughta check out Carrie Fisher’s very short memoir, Wishful Drinking. You both have a similar angsty sense of humor, AND she’s bi-polar. I just finished it. I thought it was way too short for a memoir, but enjoyed what she did share.

Neurontin is another med you might want to consider for insomnia. It’s a 10 year old medication for aniety and pain and it doesn’t linger in your liver like most meds. During a difficult time with insomnia, my rheumotoligist had me take the lowest dose at dinner, so by bedtime I was more likely to go to sleep. I take it regularly for fibromyalgia pain and anti-crabbiness.
