That is a great idea Beet! You should def. write a book. And that would help you with the rest of the shit as well! You need to act on this decision right now. Dont let it pass you by this time Beet! You have all of our support, trust me!

Also, i think you need a vacation.. One with no iphones, ipods, computers, or friends around… You should take some time for yourself, it helps to figure out what you really want…

How ’bout an “after” photo of your face!! Is a chemical peel worth all the discomfort? Or did I miss the conclusion of your experiment? They seem kinda icky, she of low pain threshold exclaimed.

My vote goes for a memoir about your experience with recovery/struggles with bipolar. I love those books and they help others a lot, in my opinion.

I think it is a great idea to start working on it now. I know there is a lot going on your personal life that you can’t always share on here, so maybe you could base some of the characters on the experiences that your friends have been sharing with you. I would definitely purchase anything that you write - you are a very gifted writer!

When I was earning my BA in Creative Writing (which eventually turned into a PhD in literature, probably the antithesis of what I thought I wanted to be), I remember several writers telling us that they would literally block out time every day and they would sit at their writing location and they would spend the entire time at the location without fail. No matter how tired, no matter how distracted, how angry, whatever they stuck to their schedule. Even if they didn’t write a single word, it was the act of the ritual that was important to their creative output. That’s always stuck with me because I was never able to do it for my fiction. . .

Hey Sascha,
I think it’s a fantastic idea! Writing is such a good outlet and, as much as I love this blog, writing fiction can be even more healing, because you’re not talking about yourself directly.
If you do publish something, make sure to tell us.
I am so buying that book. (:
