Omg Beet... I had no idea you were getting this done... I hope you're feeling better now.. It looks fucking painful in those pictures!!...
I wanted to say the same thing everybody's telling you, i don't think you should be using any make up at all, you're skin is kind of new after the peel, you need to be careful with these things Beet....
Also i wanted to say, that i really hope it turns out good for you, and that you're happy with the results in the long run. Obviously it will take time for your skin to heal, but please show us pictures when the redness is gone, maybe we would like to get it done too! Though it looks so painful...

Dont forget to use some of those extreme lotions with aloe vera and vitamin e, and some serious SPF lotion as well.. Use that even if it's not sunny, and use some Blistex or some vaseline or something on your lips...

Hope you get better soon Beet!
We love you

I think that you should try a mineral foundation like Bare Minerals. It definitely helps with my break outs and the cover up worked wonderfully this summer with sun burns so I don't think that you would have a problem with coverage.

Hm, they told me at the aesthetician where I had it done that I could wear makeup after 24 hours and it wouldn't be a problem. These people need to get their damn stories straight.

It's not recommended to put on any heavy makeup after a chemical peel.... that sort of defeats the entire purpose. Be careful.

I don't think you should be wearing thick layers of makeup (or best any make up at all) during the peel. Isn't the whole point of it to take off all the gunk that you put into your skin? I say if you're afraid of going in public make up free, just be a hermit for a couple of days and if you HAVE to work, next time you do the peel thing, do it during vacation.

I'm anxious to see if this works though! Except I have super sensitive skin sooo maybe not the best idea for me unless I want to end up looking worse.

Retin A & Water are enemies. If you are using water based foundation and water based moisturizer, it will hurt more than oil based. Just powder may be easier to deal with. Good luck!
