She sounds foreign– judging by the broken English. Maybe he has mentioned you- or has you on his facebook/myspace accounts? Very creepy.

Aside from what she is accusing him of, I’d bring it up to him more out of concern that these people are tracking you down and blowing up your email.

This reminds me of a story about Salvador Dali. When he met his future wife for the first time, he cut his body and smeared dog shit all over himself and walked down to the beach to profess his love. She thought it was amazing. All I can say is HUGE red flag.

While your guy hasn’t done anything quite so crazy, all I can say about him is HUGE red flag. Even if you bring it up, how do you know he will tell you the truth? And, can I just say the old saying of how Navy men have women at every port is true! My Dad, brother, and brother in law are all in the Navy…they all made me swear to never date a Navy man. Enough said.

I agree. Ignore it if it’s not coming from your own intuition. The beginning of a relationship is really fun, but for some of us it’s really, really hard to stay positive under the best of circumstances. This guy should have a fair shot at gaining your trust and you two should have a shot at being happy. An internet voice is not a reliable one. Sure bring it up, no need to keep it a secret, but don’t let it get you down.
