I go back and forth between Bejeweled and Peggle on my iPhone. Every night I climb into bed and play one of those games as my way of winding down and emptying my mind of the day’s clutter.

I do both rpg type long games and casual gaming, for the casual gaming I usually play those when I’m getting ready for sleep at night as they blank my mind and I can relax.

I play Shockwave and have a subscription. I’ll go into periods where I play a lot of those games like Diner Mania or Youda Marina, but then I’ll go a month or two and not play anything on Shockwave. But when I do play I’ll get really sucked in and play 2-3 hours a night and then wonder where my time went. It really just makes you forget about everything else for a while.

I also enjoy playing Spider Solitaire, Yahoo Pool, and Scrabble online at work, since I usually have nothing better to do.

So. So. Addicting.
I think because the game always changes, it’s not anything with a set *goal* , there are literally endless possibilities.. I can waste so much time with this game

I was addicted to Pogo for a long time. I still pay the yearly subscription fee out of habit, and I don’t want to lose my millions of tokens. Facebook has me sucked in right now, Mafia Wars and Farm Town. I play mindless games that are easy to walk away from, yet have levels and goals. I am a stay at home mom, mid 30’s, just like you described. My computer is in the middle of my house, smack in the center of the mayhem. I like to play games in between demands from the kids and outside world.
