I’ve got to hand it to you, (and I knew you would) you respond to criticism quite well.
I was checking back to see if you responded to that comment I left last week… and you actually made a post about it! I’m glad to see it got a discussion going.
It’s a good and true arguement against resisting meds- to do what you feel is best for YOU. So good for you that you’re doing well because of it.

Ha, well then I suppose my passionate defense was not needed : ). I tend to get angry when I see people being dicks for no apparent reason. I don’t usually read the comments but somehow found myself reading this particular thread and felt moved to respond.

Shhhh, you guys, now that he’s gone, I can finally tell you the truth. All of that stuff about God? I just made it up in the hopes that it would finally drive Donkey Punch away! And my evil plan worked, ahhhhh ha ha hahaha!! I’m so relieved that charade is over. Now I can go about getting angry anytime someone has faith in anything that might help them find inner peace and to keep the best interest of others at heart. Boy, that kind of positivity, hope and love sure does make me angry. Grrr.

I am not a religious person but I respect all who are, just as they should do the same for me.=) Everyone deserves to be able to believe what they want without others questioning it. I hope you keep praying, because it seems good for you and its what you believe in. If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

Well I guess I’ll jump to the conclusion that you are an atheist or agnostic. Why oh why can’t atheists or agnostics just treat others with respect? Why must they always jump to spewing condescending bile and hatred when it is so much easier to just be kind and let others believe as they wish. If you truly don’t believe in a god or an afterlife shouldn’t you logically then wish to get the most out of this life by being kind and living a life with less stress and hatred?

I suppose it’s the idiocy and hatred of these “new atheists” of late full of their pompous and mean-spirited rhetoric that has enboldened people like you to be cruel to someone who is hurting.

Sigh I really don’t see how Sasha’s faith in a deity is personally hurting you. It apparently helps her, so what’s the issue? Her personal blog is her personal space to talk about her beliefs and life and your condescension was uncalled for. Her other site helps hundreds of thousands of people or even more relax after work or during lunch and maybe even laugh at the absurdity of life when things look bleak.
