You don’t have to publish this…it is actually more for you. :P Right before I hit a major high or low..I have massive shopping trips..It seriously is like this is going to cause me so much more anxiety in a few days but I don’t give a Fuck this is gonna fix me and make me happy. :) I’ve learned to not beat myself up about it and go on. It is usually a warning to help deal with what is about to come.

Um, it’s the “My mother had seven thousand portraits done of me in a red and yellow plaid pantsuit circa 1978″ disorder. Many of us have it. Remember when VELOUR was cool? Right. Me either. But I have the third grade photos to prove that I wore it anyway.

GAWD, now I need to go shopping and try again to banish the evil.

I grew up knowing I didn’t have the cute-gene, and worse yet, didn’t know how to dress cute to camouflage that problem.

Finally I found http://www.missussmartypants.com She’s been a *huge* help, and the advice price is in my budget. Dressing nice on my rough days helps immensely.

i agree, the problem is target. whenever i shop i ask myself “do i like this $(insert price here) worth?” and at target everything is so effing reasonable! i just try to avoid those types of places when i’m on a budget :-/

Hi Beetie-

I’m jealous you can shop at all. I’m trapped in a shopping wasteland. I’m 60 miles from the closest Target, and as we girls ALL know, unless you’re a size 2, you CANNOT sucessfully shop for clothes online. (Too many bulgy parts, esp after kids!)

If you decide to purge, send your castoffs to me!
