I did a sick-face photo shoot so that you could all see just how sick and unhappy I am today, and I couldn’t decide which one best captured my plight in all its tragic glory, so I decided to post my top two.

This photo shoot was done after I just got out of the bath. I had to take a bath because I couldn’t get the chill out of my bones. I don’t even know what I have really, but it’s no fun. I’m nauseous and headachey and achey and tired and bored and restless and ICK.
It’s also no fun to not have anyone here to complain to. I think one of the best cures for being sick is complaining about it. I thought about inviting some friends over just to listen to me complain, and then I realized that they probably would stop being my friends if I did that. So instead I called my mom and complained to her until she was like “Okay, dear, feel better, I’m going to hang up now.” I’ve also Twittered a lot about it and emailed and texted some people, absolutely none of whom have responded.
You know what else is sad? I have been getting SO BEHIND on my half-marathon training. It’s in a week and two days!! I have no idea how I’m going to complete it. I was reviewing the rules, and they state very clearly that you cannot do the race with your dog, but I wonder if you can do it in a car. Because that’s probably my best bet at this point.
Sigh.
