Ohhhhhh you guys.
It’s been SUCH a day.
So my friends Tiffany, Miles and Kate were going to meet up at a sports bar in downtown Scottsdale to watch the Cardinals game. I planned to meet them, but only after I went to Nordstrom to buy all new makeup, since my makeup bag was all disappeared and shit. I ended up going to the Bobbi Brown counter and having the chick do my makeup and then buying a bunch of it. It cost me over $300. It was so upsetting, but I had no choice. And I didn’t really like the way the chick did my makeup, so I was going to go home and re-do it before meeting up with my friends, but the game had already started, so I just threw the bag of makeup onto the passenger seat of my car, drove to the bar and went inside.
The Cards won (woot woot!) but Tiffany and Miles had to head out early to meet her parents for dinner. “I’m so sorry to ask this,” said Kate, “but they were supposed to be my ride home. Can you give me a ride?” and I was like, “Yeah, sure, no problem.” Now, Kate and her sister had been some of the people in and out of my car on New Year’s Eve. When she got into my car, on the passenger side, she had to move the Nordstrom bag to sit down, which prompted me to be like, “Dude, did I tell you I lost my entire makeup bag on New Year’s?” And Kate was like, “Uh, what kind of a bag was it?” and I was like, “It was black felt Chanel” and she was like, “Did it have a bunch of MAC makeup in it?” and I was like, “Yes!!!” and she was like, “Um, I think my sister grabbed it on accident with the rest of her stuff when we were getting out of your car. It’s at my house. We couldn’t figure out whose it was.”
Ten minutes later, I was holding my precious, precious makeup bag with my precious makeup and my precious, lovely brushes.
AND I haven’t even opened any of the Bobbi Brown stuff, so I can return it tomorrow for a full refund!!!!
AND the Cardinals are going to the playoffs!!!
What a great start to 2009!!!!
