I agree 100%. Friends have come and gone over the years, but my two best friends - since 3rd grade and 10th grade, respectively, are really the only ones who get me, and I them.

awesome post, i totally feel you. i met up recently with a close high school friend and she told me that she still doesnt feel like her current best friends know her the way i do! i agree.

Friends, enemies, or frenemies, nobody can ever replace the people you grew up with. I’m always sad for people who moved around too much to ever really form that kind of bond with people outside their family.
