Check out the kick-ass T-shirts I just ordered my fam for when we run the Arizona Rock & Roll Half-Marathon in January!!! We are going to be the coolest family there!! Everyone will be jealous and will be all like “I wish I had that family!” and I’ll be all like “Yeah I bet you do. Sorry, it’s taken.”
Actually, my sister and I are the only family members running it. But I also got shirts made for two of her friends who are running it with us and are honorary Team Pasulka members for the day (we’re not actually all that exclusive, it turns out). And my mom and dad will be cheering us on, so their shirts say “The Mom” and “The Dad” on the back.
Huge, huge props to Anna for doing the awesome logo — doing the awesome logo like four times, actually, since I kept changing my mind about I wanted. I was all like “It should have a shoelace!!!” and she was all like “What would you like the shoelace to be doing, Sasha?” and I was all like “SHOELACE STUFF!”
I can be a difficult person to please. I know that’s hard to believe.
And I know I’m gonna get an angry email from her like “Sash! The font on the back doesn’t match the font on the front!” So I’m apologizing in advance, because Zazzle didn’t have a font that matched exactly, so this was my best attempt. The fact that the fonts don’t match is not Anna fault, it is mine. I also have to admit that, before I spent several months living with Anna in the good ol’ Brooklyn days, I never would have thought about whether or not fonts matched. But she organized our bookcase by color. That’s just how Anna is about aesthetics. I matured considerably, design-wise, while living with her.
It’s been hard to keep up with my training this week, because I was sick and then it was soooo cold out, but I have to get my ass out there tomorrow and run. I’m getting really excited for the race!!!
