Remember how I was wondering awhile back why I was getting traffic from totally random pages on Facebook? Like, traffic coming in from photo pages and shit?
Well, it hit me tonight. It’s coming in from Facebook IMs.
Like, say you’re browsing one of your friends’ photo galleries while we’re IMing using Facebook IM. And I send you a link to this site and I’m like, “Hey, check out this link!” and then you click off to the link. It looks as though you’re coming from whatever FB page you were viewing at the time you clicked the link from the IM. Does that make any sense?
I can’t believe it took me so long to figure that out, but I’m so relieved that I did.
