It's like a skill I have. All rice is subject to my ineptitude. Fried rice, Rice-o-Roni, Minute Rice... All manage to come out both soggy AND uncooked under my attempts. And this is before I even manage to add extra ingredients. So don't feel bad. Maybe pineapple fried rice isn't meant to be. I always fuck up rice. It’s like a skill I have.
